Here is Sarah Meyer the first non-Japanese woman black belt in Japan in 1935.Sarah Meyer born in 1896 And died in 1957,she is from London,England . She first started training in judo with Gunji Koizumi in the 1920s.She then traveled to japan in 1934 to expand her knowledge in Judo by studying at the Kudokon and she also trained with Jigorō Kanō and in 1935 she got her black belt in Judo making her the first female that is non Japanese to receive a black belt.



Nella foto Sarah Meyer la prima donna non giapponese che conseguì la cintura nera in Giappone nel 1935. Sarah Meyer nata nel 1896 e morta nel 1957, viene da Londra, Inghilterra. Ha poi viaggiato in Giappone nel 1934 per migliorare la sua conoscenza del judo studiando al Kodokan allenandosi anche con Kanō Jigorō.
